Stori Fawr Dre-fach Felindre

Rev. Griffith Jones

Penboyr School

The pupils had investigated the life of the Welsh cleric and educational pioneer Rev. Griffith Jones, who was born in their parish, although usually associated with his parish of Llanddowror. They had visited Llanddowror church as well as the county museum and archives, and collected evidence for his life and work. They collected their findings, and have led a service about him in the local church, and hope to share this with other schools. They have also prepared a book about him, which they hope to publish.

See their work on the school website.
